My SO is all sorts of jonesing for Cataclysm. Me, I never got into WoW as much as other people seem to, so I may give it a miss for the time being.

Been playing the last few weeks on a character I had just before Lich King came out. On Mannoroth because that's where the people from a message board I go to is on. Class channges to the Warrior made it a lot more solo friendly than I remember it being when I played before and quest item drop rates, for the most part aren't as absurd anymore. Playing a Tauren Warrior named Tarnkala. Here's his page on the new community site Tho the character model isn't correct but the items listed are |

Sure you get free pizza, hats, and "celebrations" (and perhaps other goodies) but we get to stay in our nice, warm cozy homes and get to play at 3 am/2 am/1 am/ midnight. Well MOST of us will. Heh, technically I could be playing now if I wanted, Cata is live as of 20 minutes ago in Socialist Europe.
...of course, I couldn't be bothered making the servers melt with everyone else trying to log in right now (and Blizzard don't do Verified by Visa) so I just ordered my copy from Amazon and will get it tomorrow (or I will get my £2 for First Class postage back!).
But it's the principal of the thing.
