I'm off to dinner with family right now, but Pinny, Ghostveil and I were batting around the idea of running this TF sometime soon. I'm thinking tonight if we can pull a team together that can run it, and if not then tomorrow for SG night. Sound like a plan? Post if you want in, and be either on Steam or in game when the time rolls around.
Remember, this TF requires you to have your alpha slot unlocked and a power slotted in it, else you eat a -4 level penalty on a TF that's already full of level 54 guys. So bringing a character without an alpha power really isn't a good idea.

OK, this is going to be tomorrow (Monday 1/10). If we don't have enough people on with their alpha powers done we'll do an ITF, but I'm pretty sure we'll be good for Apex. See you tomorrow!

Since we ran the ITF last night, is it safe to bet on doing Apex this evening? I'm banking on being online around 8pm CST, but as of yet I don't work tomorrow so I'm good for however late it would run!

I can't tonight, got my Borderlands static group tonight. I'm thinking maybe this weekend for Apex, as I'd like to help Sareini and Nick get their alphas slotted tomorrow or Thursday if they can make it on. If we can get the folks together though, and they can't make it, we could try an Apex run sooner.

Any chance we can run this anytime soon?
i19 has been around for a while, and we still haven't run either of the new TFs...

Thursday works best for me. Can't guarantee I'll be around tomorrow.

Plans were made, asses were kicked, plans were re-made, RAGING (tm) was had, rhythms were figured out, fun was had.
Apex TF has been done, everyone had fun, next week (or sooner) we tackle the Tin Mage TF.

<grumble bitch moan> damn space swords that don't do gigajoules of damage till 4 minutes after you enage that bitch. Maybe BM has a sword drop power that looks like the sword drop power without the warning? Cause I swear she dropped a dozen of those blue things on me before they started one shotting me. Devs hate Tanks and all Melee. <Grumble bitch moan> Still hella fun TF, and short.

I think the way it works is that the sword drops she uses for the first 50% of her life are weaker, and then at 50%, she teleports away and the sword drops change from being weak, to suddenly being "Oh, you're dead now." Still, I warned you all to not fuck with the blue flame. I wasn't lying. The mechanics of that fight are pretty standard raid boss mechanics, the main one being: "Don't stand in the fire." Anyone who has done any PVE raiding in any MMO has heard that phrase before, it's one of the most common and basic raid fight mechanics across all MMOs. It's neat to see City of Heroes take some cues from other MMOs in TF boss design.
