just a heads up since I know some of you guys are interested in the earthquake relief efforts and because it's a good game, Global Agenda is on sale this weekend super cheap. All profits from the sale are going to the Red Cross for Japanese earthquake relief. You can check it out here. If you aren't familiar with it, Global Agenda's an MMO third person shooter with a class system somewhere between TF2 and traditional MMORPGs. I have it and have only played a little bit of it, but what I've seen has been quite good. It's also 100% free to play, no monthly sub. Worth looking into if you have some cash to help out and would like to get some cool game in the process.

I've been playing GA since it was in Beta. Haven't regretted paying an extra bit, and the fact that it's gone free to play is a god-send. Warp's right in saying it's basically TF2 smashed together with a MMO-esque situation. Still, it's pretty, it's fun and the customisation ain't half bad either. I could also use a few more peeps to roll face with, so look me up as Illuminaut if you jump on the bandwagon.

Well I just bought the game, I was interested back when it came out, but not THAT interested, so I figure now is as good a time as any to check it out. I've spent more for less, so hey!
*Edit* my in-game name is "TheCheshireCat"

The "TMBZ" Agency has been established. Turns out it took all of me going into the main menu and setting up there to get it done. If you hit up the game, feel free to post your name in this thread and I'll administer invites as they're needed.
Happy shoostings!

I picked this up right at the end of the weekend special. I really like it! My in-game name is Vheikera (I think).
PS: I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing other than shooting my little gun and smashing my mace around.

Something I've read that you should keep in mind is that the game is a multiplayer PvP game first and an MMO second. The desert stuff is just there to give you a bit of a kickstart and give you something to do while queued for PvP
That said, I also have no idea what I'm doing other than shooting my gun and swinging my katana around (PS: sniper rifles have crazy range).

Speaking of Global Agenda...The game is going free to play soon. What this means is that everybody who has not bought the game will now be able to play in every mode for free. Everybody who has already bought the game will have their accounts flagged as "elite" which means they will earn 2x exp, 2x credits, be able to create agencies, etc. Here's the link to the article: forum.globalagendagame.com/gablog/index.php/2011/04/07/global-agenda-to-adopt-free-to-play-model/If we want to expand our gaming to something other than just CoH and the almost nonexistant L4D2 game, Global Agenda should be a good choice once the f2p model comes out.
