Just a heads up for Dedlok and anyone else expecting me to be on. Internet's shut off and there's no point setting it back up since I move at the end of the month, so I'm doing without until then. See ya all in a week or so.

In related news, I finally moved into my new apartment this weekend, unfortunately I won't have internet in the new place until the weekend.
At least I can still check in from here at work.

youre in austin now right? Have EvilBen show ya the TX Chili Parlor by the Capitol. Just beware of any chili with more than 2 X's in the name. also if you want the best queso in the world, try the Kerby Lane Cafe's.

Aye, in Austin now. Still getting used to the surroundings and stuff. Currently I'm still in the unpacking phase, going through a ton of boxes that are just sitting in the middle of my living room.
p.s. also working on some uber awesome warhammer 40K mmo super secret stuff that I can't talk about ... just saying.

Alas, Katz's closed, so aside from Manny Hattan's, there's not really a good deli around. But yes, once you get organized and I have petty cash again we should hang, sometime.
What part of town did you end up in?

huh, tough one to answer in relative terms since I'm still not used to this crazy town. Simplest way to put it is Just South of Anderson Mill along the 620.
As for the 620 what? I have no idea; it's labeled as Ranch Road, Farm to Market, and Ranch to Market, often all at the same intersection. There's like a million of those kind of roads in Texas, and this one's #620.

Want some really fun streets? Try the suburbs of KC. I live right on the county line. If you walk down the street a little ways, you can stand on US169, I35, Lamar Avenue, Foxridge Drive, and US70...at the same time. Then you can throw a rock and hit 51st Avenue, 51st TERRACE, and Gordon Street. Now try telling people how to get to your house.

Hey, that's right near where I used to live. Moved to Round Rock a year and a half ago, but I know 620!

Yeah, everyone just calls it 620. There's several roads that are called different things depending on where you are along them. One road midtown changes names five times.
Generally, if you're in town and need to get back to 620, find US 183 or IH 35 and head north. They will eventually hit 620 from there, then head west. I used to live in that area, so I know it pretty well.
Currently, I am in Round Rock, near McNeil Rd and IH-35. If you see the Dell campus, you're in my neighborhood. Wave to me as you drive by, since I'll probably be in Dell Block 7--- I mean, Building 7, slaving awa--- I mean, working to better the company and the future of mankind through lending my brainpower out to people who are unwilling to use theirs.

I mean, working to better the company and the future of mankind through lending my brainpower out to people who are unwilling to use theirs. Look at it this way, it's job security. If they actually RTFM, they wouldn't need to call you every fifteen seconds.
