It's a new year and time has come to consider the future of the Angels of the Old Republic.

So where do things go from here?
That's more a question for the entire guild. As we move to step things up a notch it's time to start considering carefully the needs and tasks for the guild as a whole.
I think right now we will need people who can fill officer positions for specific roles. We will need officers that can focus on managing the different tasks needed for the guild. Anyone can volunteer to be an officer and you can even choose to pick up multiple officer duties if you want. Here are some of the officer positions I would like to see, but by no means is this a complete list.
Recruitment Officer - We want to see this guild grow properly, to make sure that there is always a group of people to play with as much as possible for any sort of event or just casual game time together. A recruitment officer will handle a continuous recruitment effort as well as make sure new resruits fit with the rest of the guild.
Events Officer - At some point the guild will want to run events. These can be as simple as casual get togethers, running flashpoints, to full blown major RP events. We will need Events officers that can plan out and manage these events for the whole guild. Depending on how many and how intricate these events get, multiple Events Officers may be needed.
Ops Officer - This would be an extension of the events officer in many ways. Rest assured, we are not a raiding guild. We will remain a fairly laid back RP centric guild. But at some point we will have a great deal of level 50s who may want to do more then just the dailies. Doing Operations is a good option; there is no need to go all hardcore here but it does give the higher levels something new and interesting to do as a guild.
As always I welcome any additional suggestions. Anyone who is interested in becoming an officer should contact me and let me know what they want to do.
