Hey all!
I'm not really sure who still pokes their head around here anymore, but I was kind of looking to get back into some MMOs, and I wanted to see what everyone else was playing. I've been dabbling with a bunch, but I've yet to find one that sticks.
Thanks! Matt

I've been tooling around with a few lately, mostly Defiance and Neverwinter. I've played some Rift as well, and I still really dig The Secret World but I'm holding off on that a bit for now so as not to get burned out before the next big content update. Neverwinter in particular has really been surprisingly good, and seems pretty friendly to small and casual-ish groups, so I've been thinking about maybe starting up a guild there if we can get enough of the crew together for it. If not, Ghostveil and Eveningstar2 are in a guild there that they seem pretty happy with, so that might be an option for those who're into it.

Right now I am between gaming PCs... so No MMOs until I can rebuild. I do want to try Neverwinter, but I really want to try ESO, and hopefully next year WOW will have a decent expansion. Really MOP is boring.

I thought Neverwinter was still in beta. Might have to check it out.

It is, but it's one of those funny "beta but not really" deals like Firefall and a couple other games seem to be doing these days. Characters are not going to be wiped, and any microtransaction purchases will stay on your account after the official release. I'm told the endgame has some issues, but so far (level 15) it's been smooth sailing.

I tried Neverwinter for a bit, and it didn't really click that well with me. I didn't have a lot of time with it though, so I might give it another spin sometime.
I did just reinstall TSW, and I'm giving SWTOR a spin as well. I feel like a little MMO whore.

I'm hopping around free to play games, really. I'm a bit hesitant to buy another MMO until I hopefully get a job in the Fall.
I do still have GW2, TSW and SWTOR, though. I did try out Neverwinter, but it still seemed a bit unpolished to me.

On the subject of TSW, while I'm only playing it here and there for the time being, I am in a really great templar cabal there. Check us out, that's the TSW version of Sombra on the left hand side of the Safety Dance event pic with the turret next to her: scarlet-and-cross.enjin.com/

I'm playing SWTOR and liking it so far. Neverwinter has grabbed my attention on the second time in. TSW still feels like it's missing something. I don't know what it is, but there's something lacking.

I concur that Neverwinter is indeed surprisingly fun. As with all of these mmos however, I'm not confident that it will keep my attention on its own, and I really would need people to play it with for maximum value.
(I already stopped playing, and watching, Defiance because it just stopped being interesting enough to be worth the effort.)

So funny thing. I sent a ticket to PW's customer service to inquire to the state of my previous Cryptic accounts for both STO and CO. Turns out they still had them, complete with lifetime subs and all. So I logged in last night and sure enough all of my old CO heroes are still there, along with a ton of saved up "zen" or whatever it's called now.
In fact the old GA supergroup and global channel are still there as well from what I can tell. Just like old times. The best part is that all of these Cryptic games are tied together, so whoever is playing Neverwinter, CO, or STO alike can all chat along still.

Well it seems this ancient laptop can run Neverwinter, CO, and STO at min settings just fine. granted it makes the games look very 1997. But they are "Playable" sadly I need to tweek the chat settings as everything in chat fills up so quickly it is unreadable.
So this weekend I'll be on for a bit. Mostly playing an Elf Mage because well Elf Mages.

I was really hoping for a "It's Tera-ble" or "It's Tera-fic" comment. I'm very disappointed in you guys.

I know about the game, but I never tried it. So a comment from me is unat-terra-inble. (ok there a bad forced pun.)
