ProBoards iPhone App

For those of us under the sway of Lord Steve of the Almighty Turtleneck, there is an app for the iPhone and I think iPad for using these forums.

It's called ProBoards. It's $2.99, but it allows full access to the forum in a readable format. Still playing with it a bit, but as I just discovered it does have landscape mode typing.

To use it with this forum, hit the Forums tab at the bottom of the app, then the + button in the top right. When asked for the name, type in "theymightbezombies" minus the quotes.

Just thought I'd throw it out there.

I hot the free version of this app, which let's you read all the threads and messages but not actually post. Works fine as an easy way to check for Amy new posts and pm's. However even at 3 bucks I don't think it's worth paying for this app since you can just check the forums normally - with all posting and messaging access you would expect - from the built in safari web browser that already comes with any iPhone. Kind like how I'm doing right now.

I've got one of them ancient iPhone three-gees that, much like the Bee-Gees, are carved from stone tablets and use the latest in etch-a-sketch technology to drawificate my internets.

Long story short, I tried using the safari browser, and it wasn't working too well for me for a number of reasons... eyestrain, render time, take your pick.

Also, I didn't know there was a free version. =p
