(( Prologue - Here's the tale of what happened to Caios between the end of Fallin Angels and the beginning of the Blood Angels. This also leads in to the Incarnate stuff happening these days. So time wise this would take place a while back, immediately after the events of Fallin Angels ))
"Hit me again." Caios told the bartender as she slammed the shot glass onto the counter. The man behind the bar just glared at her but eventually poured the bottle of whiskey into her waiting glass as requested.
He wasn't the only one giving her mean looks in the bar. After all she had a rather bad reputation with the locals. So it was hardly surprising when a prime example of this walked up to her with murder in his eyes.
"You know what's good for you," The man began speaking to her as he stopped at the bar next to Caios, "You'll finish that drink and leave town for good."
Caios looked over at the man who was talking to her. He was almost six feet tall, very muscular, scars and tattoos covered every inch of his skin. Over it he wore a simple dull crimson wifebeater and had a number of heavy chains wrapped around his hands, shoulders, even his neck. This was one villainous criminal who had clearly been in a large number of fights already in his young career of terror.
In other words, he was no match for Caios.
"Go away," Caios said simply as she returned to her drink. She finished it quickly and motioned the bartender for another.
"You should take your own advice, bitch." The villain at her side persisted, "This ain't Paragon. This is the Rogue Isles, capes like you aren't welcome here."
"Do I look like I'm wearing a cape?" Caios told him, "I don't care if I'm welcome.I'm here now. So leave me alone, you're bothering me."
"Oh I'm gonna do alot more then bother ya'." The man said rage building in his eyes. "Unlike your pussy citizens back home, the folks 'round here aren't afraid to fight back."
"Tha' lady said ta leave her alone, mate." A rough English accent suddenly called out behind the man.
"The lady is going to get an ass kicking," the villain proclaimed without even looking behind him, "And so are you for getting involved 'mate'."
Just then a large hand grabbed the man's neck from behind, and yanked him back towards the door with a terrible force. This caused the man to fly through the air, and through the door, landing a fair distance away from the building out in the streets of Mercy Island.
"Oh great just what I need." Caios rolled her eyes in disgust as she looked over at her apparent rescuer. He was far far taller and more muscular then the other man, so much so in fact that he made the previous villain seem small and scrawny by comparison. He looked down at Caios with his blood red eyes framed by his short dark brown hair.
"Yer welcome, sis." Karnage said with a sarcastic, fang-filled smile as he sat down next to Caios, "So what brings ya, te' my neck o' tha woods."
"Shit Karnage, I'm not in the mood to play games right now." Caios rebuked his vampiric 'brother', "So if you wanna duke it out let's just fucking get to it."
"Ah ain't here ta fight ya, sis." Karnage said, "Tempting though it may be, fact is ah'm more amused by tha fact ye managed ta find yer way here where all us bad seeds live."
"Not everyone here are bad folk." Caios told him determinedly.
"Ah know," Karange rolled his eyes, "Still nice ta see tha' mighty Caios humbled."
"Oh please don't patronize me." Caios frowned, "Not like this is the first time I've had to dodge arrest warrants. This is nothing, and you know it."
"Ha! Fine then." Karnage grinned as he teased Caios, "Just glad to be able ta have this family bonding time with you." As if to prove his point he took a bottle of whiskey from behind the bar and raised it as a toast towards Caios before downing the entire bottle with one quick gulp.
"You are a fucking asshole Karnage." Caios glared at him.
