I don't have any specific preference, though I would imagine people would probably want to run the ITF since it's the weekly target. I'm ONE shard away from getting Firanima her first alpha enhancement, and I didn't have any luck getting them running tips for the day.
So yeah! If you guys can tear yourselves away from DA2 for a few hours we should run something.

If my new nic comes in tomorrow, I want to rofflestomp an stf. ITF would be cool too, or just do both. No particular timeframe in mind.

I'll be avalible and have't played CoH in about 10 days so it might provide a good distraction. I"ll be on steam at least.

By the way, the computer news that Sharky is referring to is the new top gaming rig I got last night.
I still haven't assembled it yet, however. And due to constraint with work and such I'm not certain I'll be able to finish it in time for the TF on Saturday.
By Sunday I should be golden though.

A thought for future STFs: Apparently, you can temporarily cut off Recluse from a tower by phasing it, which might lead to some interesting strategies. The red tower gives him the damage buff while the blue tower gives him the tohit and recharge buffs, so a good trick might be to phase the red tower first, kill the blue tower while a tank holds Recluse who's now dealing much more manageable damage, then let the phase drop and kill the red tower while the tank pops a bunch of purples (or uses their godmode buff) to avoid taking damage from his now much more dodgeable and less frequent attacks. This all obviously hinges on someone HAVING a phase power. I think grav control does?
Also, we should use master settings when we run TFs! I mean, we probably won't succeed, but it doesn't hurt to set them just in case we DO manage 0 defeats.

First off, sorry, my internets locked up on me last night, I think the wireless card I've been using is dead so I'm off to BB to get a new one. I'd like the phased tower attempt just to see how it goes. Jack is carring 5 top level purps,5 top level oranges, and the rest top level greens specially for fuckers like Recluse. Amazing how hard it is to get top level insp though, even on auction house.

Jack I was sitting doing homework when the Power went down yesterday Caios told me you guys where doing an ITF and the sky had to cancel it for us. California doesn't do well when we have near six months of rain.

I already do the phasing thing with dispersion bubble. I generally go for the blue tower while the team beats on the red tower, but we could try it the other way around. Another thing I'd like to try is to see if I can phase the red tower without aggroing Recluse, that way the tank can take the alpha without that big damage boost.

Darn, forgot to finish my thought. I'd like to try masters runs, but the no Temp powers throws me, I'm not sure what I can and cannot click. No ninja run? No Mutation? No Reveal? (Not that we need it) I'd just need a good a list, don't think it'd impact us that much, but wouldn't want to screw it accidently.

Don't worry, if you set the tf to disallow temp powers it just won't allow you to use them. They'll be grayed out for the duration of the tf, or they were last I knew anyway. Which admittedly was quite a while ago.

I was in a PuG ITF with masters settings the other day (didn't get it though, I think I died like 4 times ), and if I'm recalling correctly, it did NOT disable booster pack powers. I think they're considered inherents instead of temp powers.

Assuming all goes well with my change of ISP today, I very well could be down for this. Haven't played City in awhile because my connection turned my attempts to play into the "Rubber-Band Symphony in Hate Minor". Just need an idea of when, and what level/type character to bring to the party. Character list is here: cit.cohtitan.com/profile/1610
