So I wanted to brag some, and I had this really awesome bullet point formatted list of things I wanted to tell you guys, and my computer says "FUCK YOU MATT! FUCK YOU SQUARE IN YOUR FAT LITTLE ASS YOU CUM DUMPSTER!" and closes my browser.
So, the nitty gritty.
I met back up with this girl I used to talk to back in my glory days of band playing. We played alot of the same bars in the Kansas City area, so we'd always keep in touch. We're both dislocated musicians, so we decided to do some jamming and really found out we had a musical connection, so now we're in the process of writing some songs. I'm laying down all the music tracks and she's going to sing. She's phenomenal. You should all be jealous. Oh, and she can sing.
Also, we were out on the town a few days back, and wound up in a karaoke bar. She sang some twangy country music and everyone loved her. I had to one up her, so I did some Bon Jovi. The karaokist (the guy that runs the karaoke machine. See what I did thar!) said I was so good at getting the people up and into it, that he would pay me twenty bucks and buy all my booze for every Tuesday I could come down.
And, just to show you guys all what is in the works, here is a very, VERY crude sample. It's a song I used to do with my band in high school, but rerecorded with her. It was put together in like 10 mins, so there isn't really any structure or anything to it, we just wanted to lay something down so that we could show it off.

It's pretty good up to like the one minute mark where she forgets what we were doing. Then we did it over again because we forget we recording, so it's all on one take. So listen to the whole thing kthxbai.
