Mass Effect 2 DLC/Mass Effect 3 Speculation Thread

Since I got Dragon Age 2, they decided to give me a free copy of Mass Effect 2. But... I already have Mass Effect 2. So, first person to post in this thread who wants it, gets a free copy of Mass Effect 2.

Who knows, you might even like it. Maybe even download some DLC. Maybe download the Sequel Hype DLC. You know, if you really want to...

Can you give away these free copies of ME2? It sounded as if these copies were somehow tied to EA accounts, making it difficult or impossible to give them away, but I could be completely wrong.

I played some Mass Effect 2 over the weekend, trying to finally get my Mass Effect 3 save settled in, DLC and all.

Holy crap is this game still absolutely amazing...

Earth is Going to be invaded by the Reavers, the council will investigate. Cerberus and/or the Shadow Broker will be the Quest giver. You'll end up with Fleets of ships backing you up in the final battle.

If you did everything right these will be your Back up forces I think the strength of each force will be a part of the missions in 3 .

Races I think will be important mission Arcs I also think you will have team member from each of these races.
Batarians: (new Team mate possible race.)
Asari: (Possible spoiler Liara T'Soni will be a possible Quest giver, Depending on who you had in the final game and if they lived you will have Morinth or Samara, Maybe Liara if they both are dead.)
Drell: (Depending on when the Invasion of Earth Happens Thane Krios may or may not be still living, it is possible that Cerberus healed him as well, if he died his son will take his place is my guess.)
Salarians: (if you can't have Mordin Solus than the game will not be worth playing, sorry he was Awesome Sauce *100 : Not saying ME2 would have been a bad game without him, but it's like the Chocolate fudge on the inside of a chocolate cake. the cake was perfect without it, but with it life stands still and you find ultimate enlightenment.)
Turians: (hopefully you didn't kill Garrus Vakarian because you can't replace him.)
Krogan : Wrex lives, Grunt Lives, And you keep the genophege. (team mate will be Grunt, Although Wrex may end up on your bridge for the final parts of the game.)
Quarians: if you Redeem Tali, and keep her trust. (We will see Tali's face one day. I know it)
Geth: if you do legions mission, and prevent a war between the Quarians and Geth. (I can go on for hours on what they might do here Legion Definatly will be a team mate, Although if you killed Legion it will be Neo-Legion)
Rachni: If you save the Queen it is possible they will have a bonus Character Sent by the Rachni.( I honestly think we will have a Rachni team mate... yes a Creapy Alien Monster)



A speculation Idea:
Collectors/Protheans - if you do not destroy the collector ship at the end, I think the Protheans will somehow come to Sheppard's Aid. (somehow I think there will be Protheans in Hiding that will come out for the last battle. And you will have a team member from them as well.)
Humans: Here is the big bag of speculations (Jack= yes, Ashley Williams/ Kaidan Alenko, Jacob Taylor, Miranda Lawson) DLC humans (Zaeed Massani, Kasumi Goto), it is likely that if you had the DLC characters you will still have them. Also depending on the timeline Jack and Miranda may actually fight to the death, So depending on how you did loyalty missions you might only get one or the other.

Remember ME had 6 Companions, ME2 had 12, so they might take the number to 18.

Of course, they could have just been told to say random crap in order to hype people up.

I'd be willing to place money that The Reapers and the Asari are related. I'd go so far to say that the Asari are what eventually evolved to be the Reapers. If you don't believe me, consider the following line:

"I am your genetic destiny."

That line is spoken by two different characters in the Mass Effect series so far. Bonus points to anyone who can name them both.

Additionally, it may help to consider how both the Asari and The Reapers reproduce. There's an eerie similarity between the two.

Also, which race was it that found The Citadel first? The Citadel which ended up being a giant Reaper trap?

Kinda adds a whole new level to how messed up the Ardat-Yakshi are, doesn't it?
