Oh shit. I may need to knuckle down and finish the first one this weekend.

You still haven't finished Portal? For SHAME! It's like 3 hours long, man!
Also I totally caved and pre-purchased portal 2 today. Dammit I have enough games I've bought and haven't finished yet! And my wishlist of games I want to get but haven't bought yet is growing.

Well, there's the chance that it may release early, it's just that we have to put in gaming hours into playing the games in the Potato sack. :/Hey kid, think you could get the killing floor server at least updated and or changed to the new aperture map. then a group of us could play together and work on getting the GLaDOS chamber open for the new Golden Potato Achievement and get some computing time in for GLaDOS' initiative at the same time. New map is awesome btw.

I assume everyone is too busy playing Portal 2 to post anything about it.
I finished the single player last night. Portal 1 was awesome. Portal 2 is even more awesome.
Only (extremely minor) gripe I have about the game is that the ending song isn't as good as Portal 1's "Still Alive", but that's a pretty high bar to meet.
Absolutely sublime game. Every puzzle room solved was rewarded with more funny banter and story. I found myself alternating between practically laughing myself out of my chair and sitting with my head in my hands trying to think a puzzle through.
I look forward to tackling co-op sometime.

I beat it on Tuesday and share the same opinions. Spent yesterday achievement hunting and playing co-op (I have all but 1 of the single player achievements, the rest are co-op stuffs).
Co-Op is pretty fun. So many ways to unintentionally (or intentionally >:-D) kill your friends. The final test in the courses can be real head scratchers tho.

I will echo this post so that others may join in the testing. My two biggest complaints are that I can't throw boxes through portals anymore and the turrets don't activate switches. My schedule is pretty crazy lately, but hopefully I can tackle some co-op with my brother this weekend.

Alas, I cannot yet take part in the Portalage. If it had been released a month earlier, or a month later, then I would have it, but it popped right before I have to respec for a "Married" build.

Ooh, feel your pain, there. That respec takes aaages and from what I hear the recipe costs a fortune.

You think the "married" respec is bad, then stay away from the "divorce" respec.
I wish the costs were only an arm and a leg.

Well I finally jumped in the portal 2 pool this weekend. It's pretty much like GV said. Portal was awesome, Portal 2 is EVEN MORE AWESOME. Freaking hilarious and crazy fun.
"Here are the test results; 'You are a horrible person', that's what it says. We weren't even testing for that."
"Look at you soaring majestically through the air. Like an eagle. Piloting a blimp."

It gets funnier too "Those of you who volunteered to be injected with Mantis DNA I have good new and bad news. The bad news is the experiment is postponed, the good news is we've come up with a better one. Now grab a rifle and report to lab to fight off an army of humanoid mantis men."
"Best case you get super powers, worst case tumors"
And of course
"Black Mesa can kiss my bankrupt ass"
