Reminds me of when Duel Blades was put in the game, and Shadowstormm and I ended up standing in Atlas and watching the crowds. "Oh hey, it must have been Free Ginsu Knives Day at City Hall." Only this time it's Nerf Guns and people doing the Time Warp unironically  |

The First Ward content is pretty awesome so far, I've done two arcs of that story thus far. The zone itself looks really nice, and everyone who has gone into one of the shadow paths in First Ward, that I've seen, had the same reaction I did: "HOLY SHIT!" Some really amazing stuff going on in there, and it's neat to see the zone shift and change as you go through the story arc.
The Seed of Hamidon is pretty well done as well, although they need to do something about their lighting wherever the Seed is floating. You can't see ANYTHING when you're fighting it.
The new Atlas Park looks awesome as well.
The only thing I'm apprehensive about is the rotating Tier 9 VIP rewards. They're virtual goods, it's not like there's a production line you need to change in order to sell new goods...so why is the celestial set only going to be available for a short time? And how the hell do I get it if I really, really want it?
Edit: Read up on how the Tier system works, and god damn it is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. They're making some really awesome costume sets for Tier 9 VIPs, but you CAN'T BUY THEM AT ALL until you've bought EVERY OTHER VETERAN REWARD.
That is DUMB AS HELL. If you're going free to play, let me BUY YOUR SHIT. I want to buy your damn costume pieces, so LET ME. >.<

So that's why I can't take the tier 9 vet rewards. That really is friggin' stupid. I mean, kudos for trying to do something different, but minus 50 DKP for not realizing that it's only different because everyone else realizes it's a dumb idea.

For those still unaware, the I21 Head Start begins on the 13th, so if your account is active then, you get early access to Issue 21 on the live servers. Not sure how long it will last, but long enough to make new beam rifle or time manipulation characters and level them a bit before the influx of freebs come rushing in. I made Stanley Steamer, Yes a Nemesis plot.   Beam Time Dom, colored to look like steam. |

Yeah, ok made a Beam Jack on Exhalted just to look at the set...not really in love with it to tell the truth. Figured Exhalted could be one of th "52" worlds or whatever. Do like the idea of an unpowered (or slightly, I mean every PC in the game has some powers) Jack Wolfe running around with a backpack fulla gadget.   |

Weird. I just had to pick the Tier 8 stuff with my VIP tokens then I was able to get the Celestial costumes without having to pick the regular Tier 9 stuff.
Also, I rolled up a hoverboardin', beam-shootin', wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stranded time traveller, Bolt Spectra.

That's intentional as the Tier 8 stuff is the old vet reward stuff and the regular Tier 9 stuff is just repeatable rewards that you can optionally "buy". Heck I think regular Tier 9 unlocks at the same time as Tier 8.
