As long as I get paid. It's not uncommon for Special Forces to go native, though actual civillian operaters are more the perview of the intellegence community, which in the ST universe makes perfect sense for a Jedi to lead. Most Special Operation units work directly under an Intelligence Service. ie. I was in 1st Force Recon, which was a subunit of 1st SRIG (Surveillance, Reconnaissance, Intelligence Group). 1st SRIG was the Intelligence unit for the 1st Marine Division.

Yeah, the A-Team comparison wasn't the best one I could have chosen, I was thinking more in terms of the overall feel of go-gooders operating without much in the way of oversight. A better comparison that I thought of later would be basically the strike team from The Shield only not evil, and that's more or less exactly what you're proposing. So basically yeah, I like it.

There's also the Leverage comparison, although granted that really only works for Smugglers and/or those who might have had less than shining pasts...

oh, Caios, you logged off before we headed out to blow things up for great Jedi justice, so you missed us meeting a new friend. Name of Aliraya (I think, I'm kind of drunk right now, but one of the others will have the name if I'm wrong...) and would like to join our merry band. We said we'd bug you till you got back to them.
so *bug bug bug*

Funny thing about that, everyone with the rank of Member or higher should be able to invite people into the guild.

Cool, didn't know that. I'll hit her with an invite next time I see her on.

How does the guild look, class wise? I must know these things before I decide to make a Jedi Shadow, only to find out everyone in the GA is a Shadow as well.

Shadow is pretty common actually, both in the guild and in the server community from what I've seen. I don't have a good enough feel for things yet to say whether a tank spec or a DPS spec would be more in demand, I'm going tank myself but I've found situations where I've needed to tank and where it's been better to go into my DPS stance. Unsurprisingly, healers are in demand, so if you feel like doing a healer or healing/dps hybrid that would be very helpful.

Yes, I don't know if anyone else has chosen the full healer route but me, so anyone else choosing to take up the mantle of clicking madly on the green buttons and offering up silent prayers that the cast time will be done before the tank dies is going to be very welcome. (Also, I don't want to always be the one the end boss in Flashpoints chooses to obsess over when he's not hitting the tank )
