(Why Friday? I like alliteration, plus it is a convenient day. That's not to say that Flashpoints can't be done on other days; just that Fridays can be a day for people to plan ahead for. Other days that would be just as good are Saturdays and Tuesdays, and of course if a spontaneous Flashpoint forms up no-one's going to beat it down.)
So, Flashpoints. The Task Forces/Dungeons of SWTOR. Teams of four intrepid adventurers fight for honour, glory, the Republic/Empire (depending on side) and phat loots.
I'm listing only the Flashpoints that Republic characters can access so far, since we don't really have an Empire presence as yet. I've also made a guess as to level ranges for some of them, as the links don't make them too clear (it should also be noted that most of those links do, of course, contain spoilers).
- The Esseles: The first Flashpoint for Republic characters, for levels 8-15 or thereabouts.
- Hammer Station: For Republic and Empire alike, for levels 13-20.
- Athiss: For Republic and Empire again, for levels 19-25.
- Mandelorian Raiders: Republic and Empire both again, for levels 21-27.
- Cademimu: Republic and Empire both again, for levels 24-30.
- Taral V: Republic-only Flashpoint, for levels 32 and up.
- Jedi Prisoner: Republic-only Flashpoint, levels 33 and up.
- Maelstrom Prison: Republic-only Flashpoint, levels 35 and above.
- Colicold War Game: Republic and Empire Flashpoint, levels 39 and above.
- The Red Reaper: Republic and Empire Flashpoint, levels 43 and above.
- Directive 7: Republic and Empire Flashpoint, levels 47 and above.
- The Battle of Ilum: Republic and Empire Flashpoint, level 48-50.
- The False Emperor: Republic and Empire Flashpoint, level 48-50.
At the moment, I think most of us are somewhere between the 15-28 level range with at least one character, so my first suggestion is (after talk in the OOC channel earlier this evening) running a bunch of the level-appropriate Flashpoints this Tuesday evening. They would be, for reference, Hammer Station, Athiss and Mandelorian Raiders, primarily. Hopefully we'll have enough people on to run more than one so that everyone gets to join in, and we can always pad out the groups with pick-ups if needed and dazzle them with brilliance.
