Just a head's up on what's going on here in the story moving forward.

The plan currently will be to have everyone on hand to split up into two or three teams. Basically the division will be between the folks trying to work at least relatively legally, and those who don't. In other words this will come to the point where everyone starts deciding between what eventually become the New Urban Legends and the Blood Angels.

As such It will be suggested in the cave meeting that A) people start moving right away, and B) people pick one of these groups in the process.

The first group, or two groups depending on how you look at it, will be trying to solve things properly. They're going to want to investigate what's really going on, finding evidence, debunking the videos, picking up all the details to eventually prove everyone's innocence.

The second group will be breaking Ghostveil out of prison to start. Then expect things to go downhill from there. These guys will be the aggressors, they'll be loud and they'll be blatant. They're not purposefully trying to cause insane criminal havoc or anything, but they will be purposefully making themselves targets for Longbow, Bounty Hunters, etc, etc. In order to keep the heat off the other groups.

I'm putting this up now so people start thinking about where they want to go. Realistically we can't have everyone in the same group so bare that in mind when you consider carefully where you want to go. You don't have to make your choice based solely on what group you want that character to end up, there are no restrictions or anything here, just go where you think it best for your character.

As you guys have probably seen if you've been keeping up with the thread: Shadewing was badly wounded by longbow, and was rescued by Lime Porcupine. Normally she's nice and sweet to everyone, but I'm thinking once she comes to and heals up a bit so she starts thinking straight again, she'll probably want to find out what's going on.

She'll still be the same Shadewing everyone knows and loves, but I'm thinking once they find out the culprits (The malta operative, maybe?) she'll lash out violently at them; something she'd normally never do. I want to give some sort of reason why Ghost Widow would bother training Shade in the first place.

So yeah, don't have everyone split up and continue with the plot until Shade and Lime get to the cave pl0x. That and there's the issue of Fenix spreading himself all over the internet...

Depending on how much time I can add to the Input will depend on how quickly I can get my homework done before Thursday, with this in mind I don't think I will get much done that would be legible...

So simply Malkavian realizing that they are tracking the Quantum Signature will volunteer to be on the Rescue and open target group, where as Irken will boldly cower towards the Legal rout and will honestly let the group use his ships computer.

Also while this is going on, Marhiel from Preatoria will be searching out her evil twin and will find out what’s going on from the Media and will think that the Angels are actually evil.

She will then start trying to hunt down her evil twin’s friends...not realizing that the evil twin isn't evil anymore...

I do want to write a starter post....

Something tells me she would be glad to help with the brake out if she knew that Mariel wasn't evil....

I really need to make the starter post. Also should Marhiel try and bomb Mariel…

These are things I have to figure out.

Well, I plan to get writing again for this later this evening, but in the meantime here's a quick rundown of my "incidental" characters, in case anyone wants to mention them/have them cameo somewhere.

- Quantum Butterfly is currently being held by Longbow; she is very confused but came peacefully. They are looking to revoke her status as an "allowed visitor" of the dimension.

- Friction Curse heard about what was going on and walked into the police station in Brickstown, giving herself up so that no-one would get hurt in trying to take her down. She's currently being held in a fireproof cell, probably where the others are.

- Shadowglider teleported out of the city the moment she heard the news break. She got the message about the meetup and argued with her Kheldian over whether to meet up or lie low until everything blew over, but eventually she will turn up at the cave. When it comes to being in the investigative team or the breakout team, she'll choose the latter.

- Imagika will want to help free everyone, but needs to go into the investigative team.

- Psychist... we'll see

Stern Impact will probably wind up with the group that's at least going to try and do things legally, aka Urban Legends. True, she is not a total do-gooder type, but she's found she likes living someplace where laws actually have some meaning.

Delta Rae is going to wind up going on the 'Break out Ghostveil' route. She might even eventually flip all the way over to Rogue. It really depends on how her and Tony work out their differences. Suffice to say, she's going to justify her brutality by the fact that Longbow shot her girlfriend. I figure that either way, she'll wind up in the Blood Angels.

Speaking of whom, Siberian Inferno is probably out of this fight for the time being. Modern medical science can work wonders in Paragon City, but taking a tight shot-group of .50 "hero-killer" slugs to the heart will still fuck you up pretty bad. Rae only healed her enough before letting Tony take over to keep her alive until EMS could get there - and to keep Sibby clear of all this until it all blows over, since her identity is still classified even above Longbow's level.

That said, once it all blows over, she will probably end up in the Urban Legends.

Mr. Conspiracy, who I don't think any of you have met yet, may be coming to play. He's fun. You'll like him. He's gonna go Vigilante right after I get him to 10, if that gives you a clue.

If I have to explain Shadowstormm's position on the whole situation, then you haven't been paying attention the few years I've been with the GA. 'Nuff said

Fenix: Currently some sort of computer virus. Currently attempting to reach the sensitive areas of White's computer, and/or infiltrating the far reaches on the net. If either team stumbles across a computer, expect Fenix to try to make contact. Is also a copy of Fenix on the laptop, to make sure that the Longbow interrogator doesn't realize he's escaped.

Undying Nebula: Attempted to surrender peacefully, but due to the language barrier, was attacked and shot several times. Unconsious, and being held at (place where injured arrested Angels are being held.)

So, I'm trying to think of a way to introduce Mr. Conspiracy to the group, and then I remembered the gag with the character...

He was adjusted by Malta and Crey with some sort of psionic beacon that makes everyone around him forget him after they've been out of contact with him for more than an hour.

So, it's possible that he's always been a member of the team, just nobody can really confirm or deny it. Sort of like The Rumor in Top Ten.

Thoughts?

EDIT: After thinking on it some more, it's probable that people would remember someone named Mr. Conspiracy - the effect is centered mainly around removing Walter Sczepanzski from everyone's frame of reference - but they might not remember all the details about him. Is he white? Black? Tall? Thin? Fat? Short? Does he use guns, or is he a two-fisted scrapper with knuckles of iron and a heart of gold?

His costume, being a nondescript grey suit, raincloak, and fedora with a mask and goggles, lends itself to this anonymizing effect, which he finds useful from time to time.

Jack is a highly visible pile of money, so clearly he's gonna publicaly support the UL formation, that said he is pissed. I would assume if he learns about the Malta connection there will be some very public pain. He wouldn't mind getting hold of Longbow either.


Rok is a open case, she's into old school justice, wouldn't cross her.

The legal/troubleshooting dept. on the other hand is more then willing to quietly take action.

The real problem I have is time, you may have noticed Mon isn't great for me and I just don't have time to write, barely to play. Feel free to use any of the resources, I do have a concept of Mr Green publicly standing Longbow and Jack down in the middle of the street. You know, fight averted by paperwork.

For the jailbreak: Charredcore would be all over that, but I don't see her taking a role beyond a secondary character. She's been laying low and hasn't been in a position to really take charge of anything. Feel free to drop her name or whatever as another body surging into the fight.


Now, as for the bounty hunter on the Angel's trail: I'd like for her to nab somebody, if possible. Probably by tazing them or somesuch - she's not going to fight on even terms if she can help it. She thinks she's working for the PPD (well, a secret task force attached to them) to bring in some superpowered fugitives but she'll realize her mistake when she tries to collect and realizes something is very, very wrong. The captured character would be released shortly thereafter, so it won't really detract from their participation if their player doesn't want it to.

Sareini sounded a bit intrigued when I mentioned this regarding Imagika, but Warp also expressed interest in Imagika as a hook into the story for him, so I don't know how that's going to pan out.

lets see, Schrodi's presumed disintergated, Xeno is in the mourge (a longbow mourge actually...lets just say they're not looking for cause of death...)
Snowdog is out of the fight, Army's not gonna let her go for her own safety after both longbow and malta showed up at the base. General Knox feels he owes her late brother so is protecting her. Besides, she's not gonna be in any condition to do anything anyway for a few weeks. Official story is it was a mid-air collision between the two aircraft, though if there starts to be would be bounty hunters showing up at Benning, they'd probably evac her to a fortified Wolfetech facility once she was stable enough to be moved. Though Ms Black might find the workouts enjoyable ^.^

Lime made it to the cave, she's good for about 24-36 hours for doing some public work for the group, once the longbow she took down saving shade wake back up though, then she'll be wanted too. Bizarro Schrodi has several years of resistance experience, so she'll probably be in the attack on the jail. Lime is more useful since she's not wanted yet doing other things.
